Shekinah Sanctuary is a place full of happy, smiling children who are completely oblivious to the fact that they were disadvantaged. Each one of them laughing, talking, singing, playing, partaking of the meals, games, study and other activities. This is possible as a result of the generous contributions of our well-wishers. Food, clothing, shelter, education and health care are of prime importance and we would like to provide the best for these children. Apart from other needs the deadline to pay the instalment for the house is inching closer; we have to raise 35,000 USD. A financial gift from you will be a help in reaching our goal. Immediate needs of the orphanage:

Sponsor a child from as low as $2 to $200 a month.

Give a child a future and be a part of building Shekinah Sanctuary, a home to hundreds of children that would otherwise have become one of thousands that make up the statistics of world’s poverty line.

Sponsor a Church ($45,000 USD)

House of Prayer: A place of worship for all people. Shekinah Sanctuary is designed to have a place of worship. Worship not only for the weekend but every day. A seating capacity of 400 people.

Sponsor a House for Faculty ($30,000 USD)

Staff and Faculty Villa: Designed to have seven faculty houses and four staff houses. This will be for families who volunteer to serve the children in various capacities.

Sponsor a House for Children ($40,000 USD for a house)

Family Villas: Twenty Houses for the 200 and more children. It consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, bathrooms, and five bed rooms. A volunteer couple will be assigned in each house to take care of the children. They will serve as foster parents.

Sponsor a Bore Well ($900 USD)

Bore Well: Today some 950 million people in about 880,000 habitations of the world rely on this system of supply for their domestic water needs. The bore well hand pump system is thus the backbone of the rural water supply program around the world. The average drilling cost for a bore well with an average depth of 60m is about $900. We will need six bore wells in the campus.

Other needs:

20 rooms ($8,000 USD per room)

School: Shekinah Sanctuary is designed to have a school that provides Christian education. The school will be a source of education for the children living in the orphanage as well as open to the public. The school will have high quality education as well as high quality infrastructure. The income from the school will be sufficient to run the whole orphanage. The school will consist of twenty classrooms.

Community Hall: For social gatherings and student oriented programs. This community hall will be designed to seat 400 people.

Administrative Building: A building designed to have eight offices, one restroom each for men and women, a medical care centre, three guest rooms, conference hall, etc.

Cattle:

At least 20 to 30 cows and goats needed in the farm house.
